William Robert Bridges

William (Bill) Robert Bridges, 78, long time resident of Corona, California, passed away suddenly after falling at his home on January 10, 2018. Bill was born February 6, 1939 in Rector, Arkansas, son of John Calvin Bridges and Bessie Aline Bridges. He served in the United States Marine Corp after joining at just 17 years old. He married his wife Marilyn C. Bridges on December 14, 1973. Together they started a business in Anaheim, CA in 1975, Mobile Industrial Supply, both retired in recent years and the company is now operated by his step-children and grandson. Bill was an avid trapshooter his entire life earning many awards. He met many of his best friends at the various shooting ranges. Bill will be remembered for his funny sense of humor, he always had a funny joke and you couldnt help laughing when you were around him. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Carol Bridges, Stepdaughter, Helen Wallace, Stepson, Douglas Fruhwald and Grandson, Christopher Falzone. And many other relatives spread out across the United States. William was preceded in death by Father, John Calvin Bridges, Mother, Bessie Aline Bridges. No services are planned. In Lieu of flowers Contributions may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
