William Rogers Eckhart

William Roger Eckhart passed away peacefully on October 22. 2019with family around him. Bill was born to John and Julia Eckhart on December 12, 1940 in Colfax, Washington. He was the Great- Great-Grandson of Cashup Davis, a pioneering family who came to Whitman County from Petaluma, California. Bill grew up in Oakdale and graduated Oakdale High in 1957. Then joined the Army. He attended Washington State and then went on to work for the Boeing Company from 1961 - 2000. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Carrie Louise, brother Art, and sister Myrtle Mae. He has one living brother John, Boise, Idaho. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Nancy. They both traveled extensively abroad and The United States. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Colfax Cemetery in Whitman County, Washington.
